Settlement with Karin Bergqvist
RLS Global AB has reached a settlement with Dr. Karin Bergqvist, who is one of the two inventors of ChloraSolv. Dr. Bergqvist had taken legal action against RLS Global AB, claiming additional compensation for her earlier assignment of her rights to the invention of ChloraSolv. The outcome of the settlement was significantly less than the original claim in the lawsuit and does not include any immediate payment to Dr. Karin Bergqvist. The compensation model is based on a small percentage of the net sales. The settlement will have an insignificant impact on the result developmed by RLS Global AB the next couple of years. We can now concentrate all our resources on commercializing ChloraSolv into the market for diabetic foot ulcers in accordance with our newly issued CE certificate, says Karin Fischer.
